Tennis in the United States is played on three kinds of places: public park courts run by a city or county, member clubs and country clubs with their own pros and leagues, and commercial tennis centers that sell court time by the hour. Public courts are usually free and first come, first served, with a posted limit (often 60-90 minutes when others are waiting); busier cities run online reservation systems with a small fee and a permit for the season. Indoor courts are rented by the hour and booked days ahead in winter. Most facilities are hard courts; clay is common in the Southeast and at private clubs, and grass is rare. Lights extend play into the evening at many parks, sometimes with a coin or app-operated switch.

Buffalo is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Buffalo is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New York's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

I hate to leave such a bad review but given the circumstances I feel like I have to. Me and my husband stayed here the night of our wedding and the next night. We had nothing but problems. Our toilet did not work we had reported this to the front desk and was told they’d send someone 6 hours go by we return to the room no one had fixed it. The door to the bathroom could not be closed or the hinge would fly off and trap you in there. I also called 4 days prior to confirm we’d get a specific room as I was told that every room was a little different I had explained to her that it was our wedding night and we’d really like the room that we booked and went over which exact room, she reassured us that we would be getting that room. Upon arrival it was not that room and when I had asked when checking out I was told that we did in fact pay for that upgraded room but was put in a cheaper room. For paying 790 dollars I was extremely disappointed in this experience. This night was a very special night to me and my now husband and this experience definitely put a damper on it. We also had our entire wedding party stay here as well and they had a lot of the same similar issues. For a 5 star hot

Absolutely the best hotel in Buffalo!! I've stayed here almost 10 times & I can't wait to stay again in October :) It's such a beautiful hotel & we love staying here, especially for Sabres games. Every time I've stayed the staff have been wonderful & helpful. They also always remember me from previous stays, I love that! It also has a great bar & restaurant. The hot springs are amazing, especially in the winter!! Always stay 2 nights, because 1 night isn't enough to enjoy the wonderful amenities here!
